I have made it my personal mission to break the stereotypes that surround this breed, to show the world what these dogs are truly made of, and to share the information I have learned along the way.
A LITTLE ABOUT ME
Hey there! My name is Megan and I am the human behind Stumps and Rumps.
I’m a small-town Missouri photographer, blogger, and educator with big dreams for these little dogs of mine.
Before owning Corgis, I believed a lot of the stereotypes that the internet purported to be true: That Corgis are goofy, disproportionate, often overweight couch potatoes.
It wasn’t until I spent some time with them that I learned that they are anything but that. Corgis are highly intelligent, charismatic, driven, working dogs. They are capable of much more than they are given credit for.
Needless to say, I fell in love with the breed almost instantly.
I purchased my first Corgi, Moose, from a backyard breeder in 2017 (before I knew any better), and my second Corgi, Koda, was re-homed to us shortly thereafter.
Over the past 5 years, I have made it my personal mission to break the stereotypes that surround this breed, to show the world what these dogs are truly made of, and to share the information I have learned along the way.
My ultimate goal is to inspire healthier, happier, and more fulfilling lives for Corgis (and their people)
Moose is our rambunctious 3 year old Pembroke Welsh Corgi with a passion for adventures, playing in mud, and bananas. Wherever he goes, Moose is always flaunting his charismatic smile and goofy personality.
Koda is our snuggly 3 year old Pembroke Welsh Corgi with a desire for one thing: attention. When there is no one on the couch for her to curl up next to, she can be found tormenting the cat, chasing squireels, or playing fetch with her favorite blue frisbee.
